Does my pet need blood tests every year?

Annual blood testing is not mandatory, especially if your pet does not have a specific medical condition that requires follow-up. Annual blood testing is recommended starting at 7 years of age. As it depends on the situation, your vet is the best person to determine whether blood tests are appropriate.
